Graduate Students

Graduate programs at Massachusetts College of Art and Design span disciplines in the fine arts, new media/design, art education, and architecture. In the fine arts we offer a full-residency Master of Fine Arts with five concentrations at our main campus in Boston and a low-residency 2D-focused MFA in conjunction with the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. In addition, we offer a Photography Post-baccalaureate program and an Interdisciplinary Fine Arts Post-baccalaureate program.

Our two design programs offered through the Dynamic Media Institute attract designers seeking a Master of Fine Arts or a DMI Post-baccalaureate certificate.

Our art education programs include the Master of Teaching / Art Education Program, the Master of Science in Art Education (MSAE), and a Teacher Preparation Program.

The MSAE program and our new Track l and Track ll Master of Architecture programs admit students in the summer and include year-round study.
