Library Instruction

Dear Faculty:
The Morton R. Godine Library has a Library Instruction program that provides students with the skills and methods of library research. These sessions are tailored to meet the needs of individual courses and class assignments. We provide everything from the basics of finding one's way around the libraryand the catalog, to advanced research methods specific to a field of study. Our recently created Instruction Classroom is located on the 13th floor of the Tower Building, and allows for hands-on practice of the techniques presented in class. We are also available after the presentation for individual help.

To request a class: fill out our online version of the Request Form or a printable version of the Request Form to officially arrange for a classor series of classes. We encourage you to inform us of your specific needs and any related assignments so that we may better tailor a class. We will confirm your request using the contact information you give us.

You can also e-mail Lisa Harrington, coordinator of Library Instruction, to inquire about date and time availability or to ask questions about instruction in general.

Then fill out our Faculty Evaluation Form and let us know how we are doing. You can either fill the form out using our online version of Faculty Evaluation Form or send us a printable version of the Faculty Evaluation Form.
Please send any printed forms to The Morton R. Godine Library, Attn: Lisa Harrington, 621 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02115 or fax to 617-879-7110.
