The city of Boston is located on the historic eastern seacoast of Massachusetts. Logan International Airport is approximately 25 minutes from the campus (depending on traffic) and both public transportation and taxi service are available to the college. MassArt is located in the Fenway/Back Bay section of Boston. In the immediate neighborhood are the Museum of Fine Arts and the Gardner Museum, ten other colleges and universities, Symphony Hall, Fenway Park (the home of the Boston Red Sox), the Fens (part of Boston's "Emerald Necklace" of parklands), and many small cafes and restaurants. Public transportation is easily available.

Accommodations are available in MassArt's Smith Hall dormitory or at three hotels convenient to MassArt at a special conference rate.

MassArt Smith Hall: $50 single, $40 double per night. Most rooms are double occupancy with twin beds; a very limited number of single rooms are available. If requesting a double room, please name your roommate or one will be assigned. Smith Hall amenities include air-conditioning, a complete linen package, semi-private bathrooms, laundry facilities, and a smoke-free environment. Professional security personnel are on duty 24 hours a day. Early reservation is advised; register for rooms by completing the housing form available below. Payment will be requested once your reservation is confirmed.
