Students are encouraged to be active at MassArt and make a difference in their
college experience. All undergraduate students are welcome to attend Student
Government Association (SGA) Full Council meetings at 12:30pm every Tuesday
in Tower 659. If you have an issue or want to get more involved at MassArt,
SGA is a great start for networking with other students and figuring out how
to get things done with the Administration.
Another way to become active is to get involved with one of the many committees
formed each year. Students get a chance to interact with other students, administrators,
and faculty as they work to steer the future of the institution. For information
on how to become involved, contact the SGA President at x7724.
Undergraduate students who want to start a new group should attend the first
SGA Full Council meeting in September or contact the SGA Executive Board (e.g.,
President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Student Trustee) either
through their mailboxes outside the SGA office on the second floor of Kennedy,
via telephone, e-mail, or at a Full Council meeting.
Below is a sample list of Student Government Association student organizations
that have been active recently. Undergraduate students interested in joining
a student organization can contact the organization’s officers through
the organization’s mailbox outside the Student Government Office (2nd
floor, Kennedy). A complete list of active organizations is available outside
the SGA Office and on SGA Bulletin Boards throughout campus.
