Freshmen - Seniors

All MassArt students should visit the Career Services Office! We are located in the Kennedy Building on the 2nd Floor. Our office hours are: M-F 9 am to 5pm.

Too many students wait until their senior year to visit Career Services. We can help you now with listings for art-related part-time and freelance work and part-time non-art (ie: spending money) jobs. We can help you with information and assistance to write up a basic resume. We attract many students who have their resumes ready to apply for jobs that interest them.

We also advertise internships for Juniors and first-semester Seniors in fine arts and design. Be sure to complete 1-2 internships to complement your major to get the work experience you need before you graduate. Eligible students can receive 3 studio elective credits for their paid or unpaid internship experience(s) that count towards their degree requirements. Use your password and ID assigned by our office) to access the most current internship listings.

All matriculated degree and certification program students should come to Career Services to get their personal ID and password to access our jobs and internships online, 24/7. You can look at our listings at any time from home or from any computer with internet access.

Come to our workshops (http://www.collegecentral.com/massart/Student.cfm). Some are only offered once, so be sure to sign up when you see what you want.

We can also arrange for matriculated students to access Art School Career Service Offices in other parts of the country.

Matriculated students in their freshman through senior year should visit us often.
