Graduate study at MassArt encompasses the fine arts, design, art education, and architecture. In the Master of Fine Arts program, students can choose between five fine arts concentrations including painting/printmaking, sculpture, photography, film/video, and the Studio for Interrelated Media and a sixth MFA design concentration and a post-baccalaureate certificate program, both of which are housed within the Dynamic Media Institute. In addition, a low-residency 2D-focused MFA program is offered in conjunction with the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts. In Art Education, the college offers a post-baccalaureate Teacher Preparation Program for those pursuing the Initial License and the Master of Science in Art Education Program for teachers working toward the Professional License as well as other professionals in the broader field of art education. A new Master of Architecture program is a 60-credit program course spanning fifteen months that prepares its graduates for a variety of architecture careers.

The most up-to-date information regarding application requirements and admissions procedures for all of MassArt's graduate programs is now available in a convenient PDF file, which also includes a graduate program application.
