Courses & Programs
Continuing Education courses and programs are available throughout the year, including summertime. Adults of all ages are welcome to participate in Graduate and Continuing Education courses. Most courses are offered during the evening with a few courses during the day and on weekends.
Courses with MassArt credit can be transferred to other institutions and can be considered for application toward one of the degree or certificate programs offered through MassArt.
High School Seniors
High School Seniors can consider taking 100 Level MassArt courses for credit. Students under age 18 must obtain permission of the instructor.
Courses for Credit
- Courses numbered 100-299 may be taken for undergraduate credit only.
- Courses numbered 300- 499, while undergraduate credit courses, can be taken for graduate credit under special circumstances. The special circumstances require that you request to take a 300-499 level course as an independent study with additional/different outcomes articulated by the faculty person.The Continuing Education Office can provide you with more information and appropriate request forms.
- Courses numbered 500 or above may be taken for graduate credit only.
