Teacher Preparation Program

The teacher preparation program is designed for students with a bachelor's degree and a strong studio art background seeking initial teaching licensure in Massachusetts and/or many other states.

Candidates for the program must demonstrate competencies in areas specified by the state department of education. Teaching licensure in Massachusetts requires passing the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL). Candidates for the teacher preparation program who are planning to seek licensure are encouraged to pass MTEL tests before they apply for admission.

Applicants are encouraged to submit all materials at the same time, in a single package, to facilitate processing.
