Corporate and Foundation RelationsCapitalizing on its location in a thriving creative economy, the college fosters relationships with institutional partners that support its educational mission.
Massachusetts College of Art and Design establishes and maintains partnerships with corporations, foundations, and government agencies in order to raise awareness of the quality of its programs and the expertise of its faculty.
The Office of Corporate Relations, working in collaboration with the Corporate Advisory Council, facilitates connections between the college and the business community in order to raise funds for MassArt and make an impact on the creative economy. Corporate Relations works on a range of initiatives, from securing sponsorships for annual MassArt events, such as the Art Auction and the Senior Fashion Show, to coordinating various student panels and exhibitions, both on the MassArt campus and at companies in and around Boston.
The Office of Institutional Grants works in partnership with MassArt's president, faculty, and staff to secure funding from local, national, and international sources. The work that we do advances the strategic priorities of the college. These currently include the renovation and expansion of the Bakalar and Paine Galleries, endowment for the Center for Art and Community Partnerships, and funding for critically needed scholarships, professional development, and youth programs such as Artward Bound, the nation's first college preparatory program in the visual arts for underserved youth.
