Joshua Hart
Title: Assistant Professor
Degrees: BA Art Practice, University of California, Berkeley, 2001 MFA Sculpture, Bard College, Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, 2006
Joshua Hart is a maker and a drawer of and on things. Recent projects around in-depth part-to-part self-portraiture have included exhibitions at Soloway Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, 2012; Feature, Inc., New York, NY, 2011; Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY, 2011; The Metric System, New York, NY, 2010, Bose Pacia, New York, NY, 2009, among others.
Currently on hold is a long-term sculptural reenactment of The Flood.
He is a contributor to Shifter, an online and print publication (shifter-magazine.com)
He is a recipient of the Derek Bok Center for Undergraduate Education at Harvard University’s Distinction in Teaching Award, and a Milton and Sally Avery Fellow.
