Rose Lowder
Monday, February 7, 6:00PM | Tower Auditorium.jpg)
French filmmaker Rose Lowder has been a prolific practitioner of perceptual experiments with 16mm film since the 1970s. She has composed more than 50 films, mostly in and around her home in the Avignon region of France. Using a precise, frame-by-frame technique, Lowder's films manipulate light, color, and motion to explore not only her surroundings, but also the experimental landscape of meaning.
