Dan Graham

Working in video and film, photography, performance, and site-specific sculpture, Dan Graham is one of contemporary art's most inventive and significant figures. Perhaps best known for his reflective architectural pavilions, which play with viewers' perceptions, Graham is informed by a wide range of literary, anthropological, and scientific influences. A retrospective exhibition featuring 35 years of his work traveled internationally in 2001. Graham's sculpture Crazy Spheroid - Two Entrances was installed permanently in deCordova's Sculpture Park this summer.

This talk is made possible by a generous grant to deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum from the Grover Cronin Memorial Foundation and is co-presented with MassArt. All attendees will receive a free pass to visit the deCordova.
