Observational Drawing and Portfolio Development
This course offers high school students a unique opportunity to strengthen observational drawing skills and cultivate a personal point of view while gaining insight into building a portfolio and the art school admissions process.
Students explore traditional and innovative ways of rendering the observed world through a variety of styles and media. Taught by artist/educator Joseph Ray and designed in collaboration with MassArt Admissions, the class encourages students to move beyond typical neutral studies and build skills in pursuit of a strong, singular personal vision and voice through focused drawing assignments and critiques.
Please note that there will be nude models and parental consent is required.
Payment is due in full on or before September 30, 2016
