Artward Bound ApplicationDo you love to draw, paint or design things? Is art one of your favorite subjects? Can you imagine becoming and artist or a designer?
You may be interested in Artward Bound, a four-year college access program in visual arts and design for underrepresented, potential first generation college students who live and go to school in Boston. Artward Bound helps prepare 9-12th grade students interested in the visual arts with the artistic, academic, and life skills needed for admission to and success at an art/design college.
You may apply to Artward Bound if:
- You are currently in 8th grade and will be in 9th grade in the 2016-2017 school year
- You live in Boston
- You currently attend a Boston district, pilot, exam, or charter school
- You are income eligible. To be eligible for Artward Bound, your household income must be at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI) for Boston.
Artward Bound is currently accepting 20 entering 9th graders to join the program in Summer 2016. The deadline for completed applications is April 29th. Applying early is recommended.
