How do I get a MassArt student ID card?

All faculty, staff, and students are required to wear a MassArt ID while on campus. Picture ID cards are issued to new students by the Public Safety office located in the East building on Evans Way. You may take your registration confirmation (schedule) which you can download from  directly to Public Safety, or come to the Continuing Education office for an authorization. Returning students should present their IDs and current class schedule to Public Safety to be updated. No IDs are issued or updated before the first day of classes. Students who lose their IDs will be charged a $10 replacement fee.

How can I check my class schedule - my grade?
Class schedules and semester grades may be viewed using the college's online "daVinci" system. Login to with your NetID. If you are unable to log-in please contact Tech Central at 617-879-7888 or visit the Tech Central Office on the third floor of the Tower Building. Questions? Please email

Where can I park?
Continuing Education provides limited evening and weekend parking on a space available basis for students enrolled in credit classes on the specific day and times of your course. With the construction of the new residence hall, availability is more limited and spots are not guaranteed. There are parking garages in the area and metered on-street parking.

How am I notified about emergency closings and class cancellations?
Cancellation of classes is announced on the following radio stations: WHDH (850 AM), WRKO (680 AM), WBZ (103 FM), WBMX (98.5FM). Decisions to cancel evening classes will be made prior to 2:30 p.m. and broadcast on the above stations.

How can I receive free museum admission?
Admission to the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and the Photographic Resource Center is free with a valid MassArt Student ID.
