MassArt's Graduate Program offers three post-baccalaureate certificates:
The design and photography post-baccalaureate tracks are suitable for design field professionals and photographers who seek an intensive (24-29 credit) course of study lasting one year. The 24-credit Teacher Preparation program prepares students to teach in elementary and secondary educational environments.
Our post-baccalaureate programs prepare students for further study at the graduate level or may be used to enhance portfolios and knowledge for other professional pursuits. MassArt post-baccalaureate students in design or photography seeking to continue their studies in our MFA programs must submit a complete MFA program application to be considered with the other MFA applicants.
Applicants to the post-baccalaureate program in Design, offered through the Dynamic Media Institute, follow the DMI application requirements.
Applicants to the photography post-baccalaureate program follow the MFA application requirements; distinctions are made only among portfolio requirements.
Note: Post Baccalaureate photo students who successfully complete the program will automatically be admitted into the Photo MFA the following admission cycle. If a Post Bac does not enroll in the following semester to the MFA, automatic admission will not be granted for future semesters and you must submit a formal application to reapply to the program.
