Dynamic Media Institute
The Dynamic Media Institute (DMI) operates as MassArt's 60-credit graduate program offering full and part-time tracks towards the completion of an MFA degree in design. The institute also offers a one-year fellowship to which candidates are accepted based on specific project proposals and a one-year post-baccalaureate program.
Applicants to the institute are expected to possess at least two years of professional experience in a design-related field. Candidates have varying educational backgrounds and work experiences. DMI counts graphic designers, programmers, industrial designers, architects, journalists, social scientists, biologists, dancers, and writers among its graduates.
