**In Fall and Spring of Year 2, students may take Thesis Preparation Parts 1 and 2 for a combinded total of 9 credits.  Or they may take Thesis Preparation Parts 1 and 2 for a combinded total of 6 credits and also take a 3-credit studio elective so that studio credits total 9.  Thesis Preparation I w/ Mentor course numbers and credits:  FA2D 672 (2 credits); FA2D 673 (3 credits); FA2D 674 (4 credits); FA2D 676 (6 credits).  Start plans and request approval for optional Spring studio elective while preparing prior Fall term course registration.
