Through its work, UrbanArts continues to shape the built environment in the region and beyond, serving as a beacon for issues related to public spaces, public art policy, public art process and improvement of the built environment in which we all live. Unique, attractive design of public spaces creates a sense of place and offers opportunities for passive and active recreation, spontaneous and/or programmed activities. Why is there a need for improving our public realm? The argument is that holistic design of the built environment greatly enhances the quality of life.

Matching gifts
Your gift could be matched dollar for dollar! Many companies offer matching gift programs that will double, even triple, a donation's value. Check with your company to find out if your company will match your contribution to UrbanArts. If you have questions about your company's matching gift program, please contact your personnel office. Once you have determined that your company matches donations made to UrbanArts, obtain the appropriate form from your personnel/human resources office and mail it with a copy of your gift receipt.
