Opportunities for Artists
CACP supports artists through a variety of programs. Below are current opportunities for professional development and exhibiting artwork.Basic Skills for Artists Workshop
In the spring of 2012, CACP, the Parker Hill Branch Library, and the Friends of the Parker Hill Branch Library are collaborating to host a series of workshops for community members, entitled "Basic Training for Artists" facilitated by Luanne E. Witkowski.
In order to create the best series possible, we need your input! Your feedback will guide the content of these workshops. What would you like to see included? Please take the survey here.

Sparring Partners Window Gallery
The Sparring Partners windows on the corner of Huntington and Longwood avenues is a Mission Hill community exhibition space. The space is managed collaboratively by the Center for Art and Community Partnerships, Harvard School of Public Health, Mission Hill Main Streets, and residents of the Mission Hill neighborhood.
The Sparring Partners collaboration curates and installs ongoing exhibitions that enliven our neighborhood and celebrate the work of Mission Hill's artists. The space, at 635 Huntington Avenue, was the site of a family-owned drugstore — Sparr's — from 1936 until 2002, when Arthur Sparr retired and sold the building to the Harvard School of Public Health. This collaboration, named in honor of this neighborhood institution, showcases the work of artists of the Mission Hill neighborhood including local students, community members, and artwork generated by local community organizations and K-12 schools.
