Inaugural Pageant
2:00pm, Evans Way Park
Pageants are often staged to commemorate special occasions such as weddings, festivals, farewell ceremonies, and significant accomplishments. Massachusetts College of Art and Design itself has created its own representations to celebrate historical milestones, such as the one held in1924 to mark its fiftieth anniversary. Immediately preceding the Inaugural Installation Ceremony - and leading into the ceremony itself, the college, alumni, and community will celebrate with a public pageant titled, Convergence, on the arts commons.
